REGISTERING WITH THE PRACTICE

INITIAL VISIT

The dentist will give you a full and comprehensive examination, which includes radiographs where appropriate and a 13 point oral health check. From this your unique oral care plan and estimate for any treament required will be discussed.

Once dentally fit you will have the opportunity to join Moray Firth Dental Care Plan - a preventative care scheme which allows you all the benefits of private treatment at an affordable price. You pay a monthly direct debit which will cover examinations and any routine treatment ie fillings, radiographs, root treatment, hygiene appointments etc. For an additional small premium the plan has the advantage of world wide insurance.

We are now also offering the Moray Firth Dental Maintenance Plan which for a monthly cost of under £10.00 covers the cost of two examinations and two hygiene visits. This plan also offers 10% discount on all clinical and cosmetic treatment. For an additional small premium the plan has the advantage of world wide insurance.

Children under 18 or 19 in full time education are registered under the terms of the NHS. We have recently changed our policy on students - all students will be treated under the NHS until they are in employment. If you are not entltled to financial assistance it will be on an NHS fee paying basis.

Those receiving Pension Credit Guaranteed are also seen under the terms of the NHS.

As of 1st September pregnant and nursing mothers will be seen under the terms of the NHS.

All other adult patients are seen and treated on a private basis,
